Brian started developing software 20 years ago armed with a barcode pen, a copy of BBC BASIC and a Z80-based computer. The result was a blood bank stock control programme that was used for over 3 years by the haematology department of the West Herts Hospital where he worked as a microbiology scientific officer.
An appetite for software development led a path from Cobal, VAX C and C++ in the early years, and when the web emerged moving to VB, ASP and ECMAScript and now that the web has matured he is experienced in leading edge web technologies C#, ASP.NET, MVC2/3, JQuery and Orchard CMS.
Having an excellent grasp of the full software development lifecycle and various delivery methodologies has meant that Brian has been able to fully contribute to the development of a variety of corporate and business website applications.
